Theodore A. Topouzis
Theodore A. Topouzis graduated from New York Law School in 1993 and is licensed to practice law in Florida, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, New York, and New Jersey.
Ted has focused on real estate law throughout his career, beginning as an associate attorney at a prominent Florida-based real estate firm. There, he represented national investors, institutional mortgagees, asset management companies, and servicers in the liquidation and sale of real estate portfolios. His work included extensive experience in judicial foreclosure litigation for both residential and commercial properties, as well as handling evictions, replevins, and secured creditor bankruptcy matters. Over the years, he has managed thousands of foreclosure cases.
In 2001, Ted transitioned to private practice, where he continues to work with institutional lenders, local mortgage companies, realtors, and investors, specializing in residential and commercial closings, including REO/Bank Owned transactions. Additionally, he has successfully negotiated homeowner and condominium payoffs within statutory “safe harbor” limits and has resolved municipal code violation liens and fines related to neglected properties.
Ted is also highly experienced in title curative work, which has saved clients significant costs by resolving association disputes, municipal code issues, and complex title matters. Known for his client-first approach, he avoids per-task/hour billing, focusing instead on providing satisfaction, cost savings, and timely closings for his clients.
Dedicated to accessibility and responsiveness, Ted makes himself available 24/7, ensuring clients receive timely responses to their inquiries by email or phone.
